Job Description - Community Physiotherapist, Physiotherapy 0.6 FTE (HAU01928) Community Physiotherapist, Physiotherapy 0.6 FTE Vacancy No: Vacancy No: HAU01928 Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity Our dedicated, enthusiastic and supportive team are looking for a skilled physiotherapist to help our service deliver optimum assessment and rehabilitation to the Tairawhiti community. You will be providing physio assessments and treatment to the people of Tairawhiti. In our regional centre we manage a range of conditions therefore a generalist physiotherapy skill set is highly valued. However, depending on what skills you bring to the role you may find opportunities to develop into a number of special interest areas provided in the community setting. You will have a supportive and experienced team around you that share a vision of providing excellent physiotherapy care to the people of Tairawhiti. This position is a new role that has been established to meet the demands and complexities of caring for the people of Tairawhiti closer to where they reside. In this model we value your autonomous skills at managing your time and caseload and your ability to work effectively as a team member.  In order to be successful in this role you: Hold a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) and Registration with the NZ Physiotherapy Board; Are a motivated and enthusiatic team player; Have great time management skills, with the ability to be flexible and adapt to change; Have a commitment to culturally safe practices and equitable outcomes for all patients; Want to be part of a diverse team working in a range of settings where no two days are same If you have an interest in any of the following areas; pelvic health, oncology and lymphoedema, paediatrics and cardio-respiratory we would like to support you and encourage you in this. We can offer training and enable supervision from current staff with expertise in these areas.
