We are a diverse team of FACEM or vocationally registered emergency specialists, registrars and a nursing team who treat a volume of about 28,000 patients per year, with a 25% admission rate. We have a substantial portion of high acuity medical patients, trauma, and paediatrics, for the Tairawhiti region. Nurse Practitioner as approved and endorsed by the Nursing Council of New Zealand The successful applicant will be practising at a senior level; be a calm and resilient individual with a 'can do' attitude and a passion for seeking improvement. Provide treatment and interventions, including interpreting diagnostic laboratory tests and administering therapies Have a strong emphasis on team culture Provide expert clinical knowledge, skills and professional leadership within nursing.
