Our Role and You
As a Client Service Designer, you lead the design, development and delivery of an integrated range of harm prevention and recovery services to VMIA clients that directly contribute towards a more confident and resilient Victoria.
You use your deep understanding of human centred and collaborative design processes to work with service delivery teams to produce creative, effective and world-leading solutions that directly impact the outcomes at an individual client and sector level.
Your role reports to the Head of Service Development, within the Risk Services Division.
What are your main responsibilities?
You work with service delivery teams to understand client needs and contribute to a dynamic service development plan that prioritises these needs.
You lead the agile and human centred design, development and delivery of an allocated portfolio of services.
You identify, engage and manage the best suppliers to support service design and development.
You manage at least one client service over its lifecycle, including monitoring impact and effectiveness and implementing ongoing improvements.
You are accountable for client-facing technology systems, including liaising with platform providers and managing updates, improvements etc.
You build partnerships with public service, risk, insurance and other organisations.
