Class 5 Truck Driver - Hino Road Ranger

CLASS 5 DRIVER / PLUS ADDITIONAL DUTIES Bridge It NZ Limited, Mount Maunganui, Tauranga $28 - $32 p/h + $85 living away allowance per day   Bridge It NZ Ltd fabricates, delivers, and installs bridges throughout New Zealand, with their site crews working on varied structures across many different locations and environments.   The Class 5 Truck and Trailer Driver role is based in Tauranga, with some overnight work being required between Monday and Friday. A competitive remuneration package plus overnight allowances is on offer dependent on skills and experience.   You will be driving our HINO 700 8-wheeler, (18-speed Road Ranger gearbox) with a 4-axle transport trailer. This role involves carrying out all company transport duties including delivering materials, plant, and equipment to and from the site. As well as driving you will also need to pitch in on-site or around the yard carrying out labouring duties for bridge manufacture and installation as required.   To be successful in this role you will have: Class 5 License and a high level of driving experience with truck and trailer using a Road Ranger gearbox. Comfortable getting hands-on, and carrying out a range of labouring tasks when not driving. Good awareness of health and safety risks. Physically fit, hard-working, with a 'can-do' attitude. Takes pride in completing quality work and caring for vehicles and equipment. Available to be away overnight during the week.
