About the firm I am currently working with a leading law firm based in the Waikato legal market. This firm prides themselves on a collaborative approach, leveraging their collective expertise to achieve success for their clients. They have built an impressive reputation for delivering favourable outcomes and personalised solutions to their clients' legal challenges.
They are now looking for an experienced Litigator sitting at Associate level to join their collaborative and impressive team.
About the opportunity This position offers you the chance to engage with and take the lead on various intricate disputes. Your leadership skills will be valued as you will take a lead role in mentoring the junior team members.
You will be working closely with a respected Partner and other senior team members. All of whom are highly experienced litigators and employment lawyers.
You will work across a variety of interesting and challenging work including insolvency, construction, resource management, contracts and agreements, equine and rural work to name a few. Regarding the clients you will be working with, you'll collaborate with business owners, major corporations, trusts, and individuals.
About you Minimum of 5 years PQE working within a reputable firm. A natural born leader with impressive experience resolving complex disputes. Great communication and business development skills. Strong technical skillset and the motivation to continue to improve your practice. Ability to form key client relationships. The ability to work well within a wider team environment, particularly with training junior team members.
