Children'S Picture Book Illustrator

Are you a keen artistic student looking to take your illustrations to the next level?
We are seeking a talented individual to illustrate a children's picture book. The picture book will be 32 pages long and illustrations are required for each page plus covers. This job can be done from home.
Some artistic direction will be provided by the graphic design and author, although we hope the student can add their own flair to bring this book to life!Skills required: Demonstrable portfolio of completed illustrations Drawing skills with an attention to detail Strong aesthetic and conceptual skills Ability to collaborate and meet deadlines Must have strong, clear, oral and verbal communication skills Equipment needed: Students will need to have their own equipment and/ or art supplies.
It is important the successful candidate must gel with the team as well as be a great illustrator! Further discussion is required for total time required to complete this project. Payment is negotiable. Ideally an initial in-person meeting in Auckland would be ideal but we can work around this. Please note: the successful applicant will be a 'self-employed/independent' contractor, dealing with own tax therefore those on student visas are ineligible to apply.We look forward to seeing your work!
