Details of the offer

Enhance telecommunications dispute resolution Lead a highly trusted industry authority Excellent influencing and relationship skills
Following a Commerce Commission review which recommended, amongst other things, strengthening the former Telecommunications Dispute Resolution Scheme's (TDRS) governance, the Telecommunications Forum (TCF), as the former operator of the scheme, established an independent company, Telecommunications Dispute Resolution Limited (TDRL).

Having established a board, the TDRL is now looking for an inaugural CEO. In this role, you will complete implementing the recommendations made in the Commerce Commission's review, especially lifting awareness of the scheme, and work with the board to develop an operating model for the company. Ultimately, you will have a compelling opportunity to lead and drive significant changes within the scheme and ensure it is highly trusted and well-known.

Working closely with the Board, you will shape the strategic direction of the organisation, develop a fresh new operating model, continue managing the performance and relationships of outsourced contractors and establish a progressive executive management model. To be successful, you will have a sophisticated understanding of how to effectively navigate highly complex and at times competing relationships and leverage your exceptional influencing skills to ensure TDRL is perceived as independent and fair.

The ideal candidate for the CEO role must possess a level of independence from the telecommunications sector, ensuring an unbiased and objective perspective to effectively lead and make decisions for the organisation's success. Adaptability is key, as the organisation thrives in a small setting, requiring hands-on involvement and multitasking. Additional advantages include an Ombudsman-type background, experience in dispute resolution, proficiency in commercial contracts and legal matters, skills in data analytics and IT, regulatory experience, and a proven track record in startup and organisational setup.

If you are an executive leader and capable of elevating TDRL's performance, public awareness, and instilling a values-driven approach to achieve heightened levels of excellence and prominence, we want to hear from you.
