Checkout Operator

With summer on its way, we need a customer service star to keep our checkouts humming while perfecting your customer service skills. We are looking for someone who will be able to work at a high pace and with a smile, have previous cash handling skills. You can pick up technology and systems quickly and understand and enforce legislation around the sale of liquor.
The ideal applicant will display/have:
a pleasant disposition with excellent communication skills,
high presentation standards,
accuracy and be thorough in their work,
flexibility with working hours and days with the ability to work weekends and evenings,
honesty, an excellent work ethic, and a desire to learn,
happy to do whatever it takes to provide the best service we can to our customers.
Experience in grocery would be an ideal or similar experience in general retail, liquor, or FMCG may be considered. This position is a fixed-term position for the summer, approximately 20-30 hours per week to start with during summertime, with the possibility of becoming a long-term permanent position as well.
