Charge Nurse Permanent (0.8 FTE) Waitaki District Health Service Ltd, Oamaru Hospital The opportunity has arisen for a Charge Nurse to join our Clinical Team, to work with the Director of Nursing and Senior Leadership Team to develop and maintain our Inpatient Service Delivery in line with both Waitaki District Health Services Ltd and Te Whatu Ora primary and community strategies. Mo te turanga About the role Your primary responsibility will be to : ensure the delivery of nursing services are of high quality and keeping as best practice and delivered in a sustainable manner. ensure the patient journey is focused on positive outcomes. assist in supporting and sustaining a positive and productive workplace culture. assist with inpatient service delivery including clinical leadership and coordination, operational functions, quality and risk management and other service delivery improvements within the nursing and inpatient services review and contribute to the development of policies and procedures. Mou ake About you The successful applicant will ideally : have appropriate education and qualifications for the role have extensive clinical practice at a senior nursing level be able to demonstrate cultural safety in the practice setting and able to interact well with other people from a variety of cultural backgrounds. have commitment to quality care, systems, and evidence-based practice. have proven skills as a leader, coach, and role model. have proven ability to effectively manage, plan and co-ordinate workload. be capable of working under pressure and can be flexible attitude to work outside boundaries of the position when requested. enjoy working in a team environment Ra monehu #J-18808-Ljbffr
