The Opportunity IT team at the Otago Regional Council is looking for a Change Manager to support the team in a contracting capacity for approx. 30 hours per week basis in our busy Dunedin office.
The Change Manager will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change - including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.
As a Change Manager you will be responsible for:
Applying a structured methodology and lead change management activitiesSupporting communication, training & coaching efforts around change projectsDefining measures of success and monitoring and reporting on change progressSupporting and engaging both internal and external stakeholdersIf you have a solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process and Exceptional communication skills then we would love to hear from you!
About You Our ideal candidate will have:
A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with Prosci ADKAR Model is a plusExperience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and toolsExceptional communication skills - both written and verbalFamiliarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycleExperience with large-scale organizational change effortsA copy of the full position description is available on our website when you select the link to apply.
