What You Will Do

As Centre Manager you will project manage education and outreach, and research and innovation activities, manage the day-to-day business operations of the Te Hiranga Puhanga Hiko | EPECentre, and support the Director to ensure high quality business planning and development, delivering strategic outcomes for the Centre. You will be responsible for providing this through the operational management of research and innovation, education and outreach, marketing, communications and events, financial and staff management, and continuous business planning and development.Who You Are
In addition to holding a Bachelor's Degree (NZQA Level 7), preferably in engineering, you will have:
About 5 years' proven project and business management experience
Highly developed project management skills including experience with large projects
Demonstrated effective staff and financial management experience
Proven ability to develop and sustain strong relationships with industry partners
Experience in thinking critically and being able to respond creatively and flexibly in a challenging and dynamic environment
High competence in the Microsoft Office suite and database management
Desirably you will also have knowledge of the electricity industry, University financial processes and systems, and experience in the Education & Outreach and/or in the Research space.
