Ø Determine quantities required for future production Ø Monitor production to ensure targets are being met Ø Entry in the system to check stock on hand and calculate production sheet and ensure stock levels are enough for daily sales Ø Complete daily, weekly and monthly production reports Ø Analyse sprouts to ensure optimum germination has occurred, check production records are accurate Ø Record incoming seed, sample and send to laboratory for testing both water and seed Ø Check Hygiene and Sanitation standards are being maintained as per staff inductions Ø Oversee cleanliness and operation of equipment and premises before production runs to ensure compliance with HACCP and occupational health and safety regulations Ø Ensure plant and equipment maintenance schedules have been adhered to and are updated Ø Initial induction to teach different product varieties, recipes, packaging and weights used. How to clean down between products and at end of day. Training on specialised equipment used for sprout production and packing Ø Monitor staff performance, complete training schedules and organising further training as and when required Pre-requisites · A tertiary qualification ideally · Three year's experience in food production management · Knowledge of food hygiene and production is essential due to working in a sterilised food environment · High level of computer skills essential · Strong team member working well with directing and monitoring staff performance · Good communicator and supportive towards team members · A full clean drivers licence · Own reliable transport (no public transport available) · Be physically fit · Be able to cope under pressure with daily deadlines · Able to start work at 6am Monday to Friday. Sunday on roster and on call for manufacturing issues as required · Pass a Police check · Pass a ACC check · Pass a Health check with random drug and alcohol assessments Â
