About the role As the Head of Business Enablement, you will be a member of the Executive Leadership Team, and will be responsible for leading the Business Enablement team to effectively enable their internal customers (finance, product, sales and service) through the provision of fit for purpose tools and systems to grow our business in the SMB market. This is a key role for our business and will see you delivering strong outcomes across the following areas: Building and leading a high performing team responsible for business enablement functions Developing and executing a comprehensive business enablement strategy Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives across the various business functions Establishing KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of business enablement initiatives Ensuring efficient resource allocation including budget, technology and team members Leading change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions when implementing new processes, technologies and structures Fostering cross departmental collaboration and communication to deliver on common business objectives This is a newly created role where you will be shaping and leading a newly formed team to partner with their internal customers to drive our growth strategy in the SMB market. There is potential for this role to have significant impact on the direction and success of Now. Ideally, this role will need to be based in Napier or Christchurch. You will have extensive experience of developing and implementing software applications as well as leading and managing application delivery teams (or similar). Preferably, you will already have experience in designing and delivering business enablement solutions in a customer-centric service environment. You are somebody who thrives on developing effective ways of solving complex problems and creating business opportunities through the use of technology.
