Category Manager

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

The Category Manager is responsible for the creation and delivery of category plans and providing oversight in their categories, d emonstrating a sound understanding of the supply markets and leading discussions with suppliers and stakeholders.
The Category Manager will be the first point of contact for our supplier partners and will support our agency facing colleagues with a detailed understanding of the suppliers, their services and service levels.

Experience in developing, leading and implementing category management plans to manage and monitor the performance of assigned categories to ensure scope and supplier breadth meets agency business needs
A strong understanding of and experience in procurement processes, including drafting questions and evaluating responses
Experience identifying and managing commercial, operational and supply chain risks to minimise negative impacts on category objectives, whilst encouraging opportunity and innovation
An understanding and awareness of local and international supply markets and the ICT industry, particularly in relation to market trends, products and supplier performance
Excellent relationship management skills and experience as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders and consumers of services from your categories
