Your responsibilities : Interpret architectural drawings to determine project requirement and to execute precise construction and installation tasks Utilize a diverse range of carpentry tools and use various carpentry techniques to install custom architectural elements and details Ensure the project execution comply with the building codes and health & safety regulations Perform all aspect of carpentry work, including framing, assembling, finishing and trim work Select materials and preparing layouts Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials using hand and tools Install fixtures according to the project requirement Repairing existing fittings (if needed) Collaborate with other team member to ensure a successful project Additional duties that may need to do from time to time in response to any business needs : To be conversant with our policies and procedures as they relate to your position. ·To encourage harmonious work atmosphere by co-operating with, and endeavouring to assist, the rest of our staff. Our requirement : NZ Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4) At least 3 years Carpentry work experience Someone that is proficient in interpreting Architectural drawings and the carpentry techniques and practices Someone that is flexible and co-operative to meet the needs of the business.
