Heavy Machine Operators

Our client is well reputable in civil construction, traffic management, and building construction. They are known nationwide as a reliable and quality efficient company. They are currently on the lookout for Heavy machine operators who have deep understanding and experience in operating and maintaining them, these machines consist of compactors, tractors, rollers, diggers, loaders, tipper trucks, and anything else machinery-wise used on-site. Whilst having experience is good, a good attitude and reliability is key to progressing through the company.Requirements: Minimum of 1 – 3 years of heavy machinery experience. Minimum of a Full Class 1 NZ Driver's License. Reliable transportation. Physically fit and strong. W, T, R and F endorsements are advantageous. Good communication skills. Ability to pass all pre-employment checks, including drug tests. Understanding and awareness of onsite health and safety issues and protocols. Responsibilities: Operating heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner. Assist with excavation, grading, leveling, and compacting. Transport materials, equipment, and debris. Support construction crew with various tasks. Collaborate with team leaders and team members. Performed routine maintenance checks on equipment. Adhered to project schedules and deadlines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of sites and equipment. Follow safety protocols and regulations. Continuously improve skills and knowledge. General laboring may be required from time to time.
