Our focus is to deliver projects on or before time and on budget.   With the recent announcement by the New Zealand government to introduce legislation facilitating overseas investment in Build-to-Rent housing developments, we are in search of an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The role is to identify potential new business opportunities and attract investors both domestically and internationally.   Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Conduct market research to identify potential new business opportunities in the construction sector. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and economic conditions to identify areas for growth. Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and target markets. Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients, architects, engineers, and other industry professionals. Identify and qualify leads, converting them into paying clients. Develop and present proposals that showcase the company's expertise, experience, and capabilities. ·       Seek international investors for overseas investment in Build-to-Rent housing developments. ·       Identify and secure new construction projects through bidding processes, direct negotiation, or joint ventures. ·       Manage the sales cycle for construction projects, overseeing proposals, presentations, and client meetings. ·       Oversee project pre-construction phases, including feasibility studies, cost estimates, and scheduling. ·       Develop and implement marketing strategies to generate brand awareness and attract new clients. ·       Manage and participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to build brand awareness and generate leads. ·       Collaborate with internal teams such as estimating, engineering, and construction to ensure successful project execution.     Minimum Qualifications and Experience: ·      At least four years of relevant work experience OR ·      Relevant Qualification (bachelor's degree or higher qualification)   Other Required Skills: ·      Excellent communication skills ·      Fluency in Mandarin, as our main targeted international market is China, or alternatively, you can apply and show us your working ability with other markets with supporting evidence, and we will also consider it ·      Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a demanding schedule ·      Proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
