Business Development Associate

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Associate to join our team at Dana Holding in Nelson, NZ. As an entry-level position, this role offers the opportunity to develop key skills in business development and sales while working alongside experienced professionals in the industry.

Responsibilities:- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and opportunities for business growth- Assist in developing and implementing strategic business development plans- Build and maintain relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients on the company's products and services- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of new business opportunities- Track and report on sales performance and business development activities- Assist in the negotiation of contracts and agreements with clients- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activities

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field- 1 year of experience in business development or sales preferred- Resourceful and adaptable personality traits- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
