Every day our people and passion are focused on delivering information, insights and the tools needed to connect investors with the right investment opportunities.As a subsidiary of New Zealand's Exchange, the only local issuer of listed Exchange Traded Funds, and a licensed manager of eight managed investment schemes, Smartshares is passionate about working with our customers and stakeholders to grow the markets NZX operates, which generate wealth integral to New Zealanders' prosperity, and helping New Zealand companies getting ahead.About the role:As a Business Analyst with Smartshares the purpose of your role will be to support a number of projects and initiatives that will enable our business to achieve its strategic goals.This will include understanding and documenting business processes, and high level functional and information requirements for various stakeholder groups, supporting implementation of new processes or solutions and driving change.Some of your key responsibilities are:Working with different teams across the business to capture their requirements and translate that information into solution with the relevant technical teams.Driving change management initiatives.Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.Analysing new requirements or existing issues and seeking effective solutions for continuous improvement or proposals to capture growth opportunities.Understanding business functions, processes, systems and information flows.Documenting all work and assisting in test planning and test strategies.We are looking for someone with:Experience with the development of business processes and system requirements.Excellent attention to detail, combined with great communication and collaboration skills, as well as strong time and work management skills.Ability to build positive relationships across a business and communicating with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders on complex issues.Business case and feasibility study preparations and presentation skills.Familiarity with financial markets and their relevant systems and processes, ideal.NZ Resident/Citizen or valid work visa essential.Here at NZX our people are our greatest asset.
