We Go Beyond for A Safer World Te Turanga - The Role We are seeking a Business Analyst / System Specialist to join our Finance team, based at our head office in Christchurch. Reporting to the Financial Planning and Analyst Manager, based in Houston, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective utilisation and optimisation of SAP financial systems within the company. In this role, you will combine your technical expertise in SAP systems with a deep understanding of financial processes and business analysis skills. Your primary objective will be to streamline financial operations, enhance data accuracy, and facilitate informed decision-making through the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of SAP systems and analytics. The duties of the role will include: Collaborating cross-functionally on the implementation of SAP S4/Hana public cloud financial modules and upgrades, ensuring business requirements are understood and translated into customised SAP configurations that align with the company needs. Work closely with finance stakeholders to streamline workflows and implement best practices with SAP systems.Analyse existing business and financial processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency gains and cost savings.Provide ongoing support for SAP financial systems, troubleshooting issues and resolving technical problems promptly.For more information on the role, please view the attached position description. O pukenga - About You To be successful in this role, you will: Be able to apply commercial acumen to identify the optimal solution to meet business requirements. Have SAP functional expertise (FICO, SAC, DataSphere)Be a strong change manager, able to guide the business through significant change processes. Have a relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance or IT, or equivalent work experience. Have a demonstrated track record of successfully executing BAS projects requiring strong process management and technology use.
