About you
You are a dynamic and driven bid writer with exceptional communication skills, high level attention to detail and a passion for writing, formatting and editing. You are enthusiastic, energetic, and positive, and pride yourself on your ability to write in a concise, accessible and easy-to-read manner about complex, technical and operational concepts. You work well independently or as part of a team, and can manage multiple concurrent challenging tasks. You are passionate and dedicated, and demonstrate exceptional moral values in all that you do.
About the role
You will support our Asia Pacific team to develop winning propositions by managing the written aspects of proposals, conducting research and providing proposal management support to the team. You will develop the overall structure and outline content of bid responses, maintain a style guide that ensures a cohesive and consistent response, and produce high-quality documents ensuring all completed proposals meet client and bid specifications. You will author content, edit text produced by other members of the proposal team, and undertake research to support bid strategy.
To be successful in this role you will have:
The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
Undergraduate degree in communications, journalism, corporate affairs, social sciences or similar; Post graduate or research degree (desirable)
Significant experience in writing, editing or production
Experience delivering high quality professional documentation
Experience in the preparation of bids or tenders, preferably for government contracts, ASDEFCON Defence tenders, large infrastructure or Public Private Partnership (PPP) tender responses.
