We are looking for multiple Beauty Salon Assistants to support our busy, high functioning team of 4 Senior Stylists and 2 beauty therapist with the day-to-day running of the salon while providing customer and admin support to our team. We are in genuine need of Salon Assistants who will have the opportunity to learn and Grow within the Organisation. Minimum pay rate will be $31.50 and the employer is willing to go up to $32.70 per hour based on Work Experience. Location : Auckland Job type Full time – 35 hours Minimum per week. Duration : Permanent About the role: The role is for a someone who will handle clients and discuss their needs based on their requirements. Update knowledge of beauty services to understand client needs. Meeting and greeting clients on arrival, point-of-sale at end of service and Making hot and cold beverages. Answering the phone and emails to schedule, re-schedule, cancel, new or existing bookings and enquiries. Helping stylists with drying, hot tool services, and beauty therapist. We are looking for candidates with the following attributes: Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and public holidays as per the Salon timings Monday to Sunday-10.00am to 6.30pm Relevant Experience AND / OR Qualification preferred, but not compulsory Positive attitude, Building Rapport with Customers, and ability to thrive under pressure Excellent communication skills and Handling customer professionally Great presentation and Personal Hygiene, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. - To be considered for this role you must be in NZ, and either be an NZ resident, citizen or have the legal right to work in NZ full time.
