Automation Engineer

Industrial Facilities and Infrastructure As a result of growth and increasing demand, we are now looking for an Automation Engineer to join our engineering team based in Auckland. This will involve you working on a number of diverse and exciting, automation projects.

As an experienced, hands-on, automation engineer you will need: At least 5+ year experience in one or more of a variety of industries, preferably Water, Dairy, Power Generation and Distribution, Petrochemical, Marine and/or Infrastructure.Significant experience in PLC, SCADA, telemetry and HMI programming, communication solutions, and integration with 3rd party software and databases. Experience in project managing and commissioning automation projects.To be well versed with AS/NZ3000 Wiring Rules and Regs.Passionate about the latest available technology in automation and control.To work in a team environment with a wide variety of engineers, technicians, and project managers.Flexibility, and able to adapt quickly to different customer expectations.To deliver innovative solutions to problems.Take ownership of your projectsExcellent diagnostic skills and have well developed processes for checking the accuracy of your own work.You will preferably have an appropriate degree or diploma level qualification; however, consideration will be given to those with considerable practical industry experience in automation and control.
