Asx Financial Accountant | 1St Move From Practice

This ASX Listed company has a 100 year history of owning & operating automotive dealerships around Australia. The organisation owns over $250m of prime real estate generating close to $2bn turnover and profits of $70m.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role will position itself within the Parents Corporate Head Office responsible for both financial reporting & tax reporting for the companys 100+ dealerships.
The role presents an excellent opportunity for a first mover from Practice to utilise their tax and financial accounting background within a dynamic company which has seen consistent growth and increased revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual reports for ASX reporting
Monthly FAR and capital expenditure management for the Group
Analytical review of report balances and movements, investigating any anomalies;
Assist in the preparation of the Budget and five year Forecast;
Managing consolidation elimination entries including the checking of FCTR reserves;
Assisting Tax Manager with compilation of TEA / GST / FBT reporting;
Assisting with tax compliance reviews of dealerships
Maintenance of Group ATO Portal lodgements

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
First mover from Practice (Big 4 preferred);
CPA/CA qualified (or working towards); and
Strong MS Excel and Analytical skills.
