You will develop effective business relationships with clients, and lead audit teams in delivering quality audits.You will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:Acting as a role model and recognizing others for the impact, they make.Developing high-performing people and teams through challenging and meaningful opportunities.Delivering exceptional client service; maximising results and driving high performance from people while fostering collaboration across businesses and borders.Influencing clients, teams, and individuals positively, leading by example and establishing confident relationships with senior people.Aligning people to objectives and setting priorities and direction.Leveraging a deep understanding of audit and risk advisory services and stakeholder needs to deliver high quality engagements.Taking an independent view and contributing heavily in developing and challenging the risk assessment and controls testing strategy and designing appropriate audit responses.Collaborating effectively across Deloitte functions to deliver a seamless audit that is responsive to stakeholder needs.Providing appropriate guidance to the audit team in relation to the application of tools, guidance and methodology in delivering the audit.Proactively managing the project plan through efficient use of resources and tracking delivery of assigned tasks, guiding team members' prioritisation.Using judgement and consults appropriately when dealing with complex matters.Understanding their business security, ethical and compliance responsibilities, displaying best practice and actively encouraging appropriate behaviours of engagement teamsAbout youFull member of CAANZ (or equivalent).Proven ability as an Audit Assistant Manager / Manager – at least 3-5 years within Audit in a dynamic and fast-paced audit environment.Ideally from a Big 4 / large professional services firm.Demonstrate experience in leading & managing staff on several audit engagements concurrently.International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) expertise.Excellent team player and proven leadership and management skills.Results driven & client oriented.Ability to demonstrate management flair, drive and identify business development opportunities.A profound knowledge of English, both verbally as well as in writing and the ability to make effective presentations to senior client management.EMS experience is preferable.In return, you are being offered the opportunity to join one of the world's leading professional services firms.
