One of New Zealand’s leading Professional services consultancies is looking to bolster their capability within the Auckland structures market with an executive level Associate Director appointment. Reporting into the National Structures Manager you will be responsible for a medium sized team of high performing Engineers. You will need strong Technical leadership with a proven track record in running, delivering and managing complex, large scale Structural projects. This opportunity will offer a high performing Structural Manager the chance to be at the forefront of structural design and consulting working on some of NZ’s most iconic and challenging builds.
Critical to this role will be prior experience within a multi-disciplinary consulting environment, and exposure to medium to large scale complex New Zealand based projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparation of proposals
Business Development, Client liaison and presentation
Managing internal resources, leading and mentoring existing Structures team
Managing resources, ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within budget
Working across the wider buildings team to provide a collaborative service to key clients

To be considered you will have:
12 + years in design led Structural Engineering
CPEng Structural status with Engineers New Zealand
Full project lifecycle experience from feasibility and concept design, to detailed design and delivery.
Well networked within the local Auckland and wider NZ market
Proven track record of project and staff management
