Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join their team in Auckland. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of multiple projects by assisting Project Managers in planning, coordination, and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with a passion for interior construction to contribute to the success of diverse and exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate project communication, collaboration, and alignment.Maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables, and report on key metrics to stakeholders to support decision-making.Assist in resolving project-related issues and challenges, escalating concerns as needed to ensure project success.Provide administrative support to the project team, including organising meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or project management in the construction industry.Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software (Procore).Knowledge of construction terminology, processes, and best practices is an advantage.Benefits:
