Assistant Parts Manager

We are Keith Andrews, a well-established, kiwi owned and operated company with a successful history. We are the Daimler Trucks authorised dealer! With a work force of more than 300 passionate employees, we hold a footprint of 7 dealerships and 8 workshops across the North Island.
We have a great leadership opportunity for a motivated, and highly organised Assistant Parts Manager to join our team in Whangarei. This position will suit a candidate who has had exposure in the automotive industry (preferably heavy diesel) as well as knowledge of stock management and logistics. You will need to manage relationships with customers and mentor internal staff, monitor quality assurance and implement parts strategies.
You will ensure the efficient and effective management of stock by keeping service levels high and stock values down. You will need to develop and maintain a strong understanding of FUSO, Freightliner and Mercedes-Benz products and services and keep up to date with changes and improvements in the market to become a product expert. Exceptional communication, negotiation and time management skills are required.
