Assistant Director, Electronics, Security & Satellite (ESS) Cluster Assistant Director, Electronics, Security & Satellite (ESS) Cluster Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC) of A*STAR promotes public sector research and development in the physical sciences and engineering. We would like to invite highly motivated individual to join us in building and promoting Singapore's R&D capabilities and innovation in Microelectronics sector. The Assistant Director in the ESS cluster will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to driving new frontiers of scientific and engineering development and will be responsible to synergise R&D and Innovation plans and initiatives in the Electronics & Photonics sectors, which involves engagements with the local research partners and industries, MNC and public agencies. This role includes, but is not limited to, o Be able to lead a team to strategise and design programmes to achieve the desired scientific and economic outcomes; o Engage relevant stakeholders for support & resources from industries, agencies and research partners and coordinate and synergise complementary capabilities; o Organising activities and resources required to effect translation, and o Take on responsibilities in the implementation of key initiatives led by SERC. Job Requirements o Background in a Science (Physics) or an Engineering university degree and discipline, with at least 8 years of related work experience. o Possess strong analytical thinking skills and abilities to learn fast o Results oriented, pro-active, and a team player o Resourceful, with astute planning and analytical skills o Organised, quality conscious, attentive to details and results-oriented o Strong communication and interpersonal skills o Adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced and fast-changing environment Company information Registration No. T08GB0002C Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
