Details of the offer

Two opportunities exist to join the Finance group as an Assistant Business Analyst. As an Assistant Business Analyst, you will help the Business Reporting, Analysis and Performance Team to deliver excellent financial customer service and business support/advice to Business Units within the Council.
This includes monthly reporting, quarterly reporting, journals, reconciliations and internal recharging.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to build on your previous experience whilst being exposed to many of the financial processes in Council.
You will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in:
Accounting and business concepts
Intermediate or Advanced Excel skills
Translating financial and operational information into practical commercial or business outcomes
Verbal and written communication skills
Managing interpersonal relationships
Translating complex financial concepts to non-finance staff
We have 1 x permanent role and 1 x fixed term 12 month role covering a permanent employee on parental leave.
