Job Overview & Purpose: This is a 12-month fixed term position to support Agribusiness Managers by undertaking the end to end process of establishing a new client relationship within the Banks core system and be a subject matter expert for KYC procedures and tools. Context of Job: When establishing a new banking relationship with Rabobank the customer experience during the onboarding process will set the scene for a strong and longstanding association. This role will specialise in assisting the Agribusiness Manager creating a seamless experience for the customer, by providing expertise in streamlining KYC requirements, managing the establishment of support products including cards, cheque books, Internet Banking and Mobile Banking facilities. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: • Work collaboratively with Agribusiness Manager/Analyst in responding to requirements of new customers in respect of the onboarding process. • Independently manage establishing new accounts through the full workflow process including ordering cards, Internet banking and mobile phone set up Demonstrate strong knowledge of KYC/CDD requirements including internal policies and local legislation to provide a point of reference for Country Banking NZ staff. • Take end to end ownership of the KYC / CDD requirements for onboarding a new customer ensuring all aspects of Global Policy and local AML/CFT legislation are met. • Ensure documentation is "right first time" providing quality input to the Client Integrity Unit for processing and risk rating to achieve a quality experience for the customer • Build and maintain strong relationships with Head Office Client Integrity Unit team to ensure a collaborative customer centric approach is maintained at all times • Provide feedback and input to support continuous improvement of the process of client onboarding and account opening • Coach and mentor colleagues as required Qualifications: • Related degree in relevant discipline is desirable but not essential Experience: • Sales and service experience gained within a banking and / or business or corporate banking with an agribusiness focus as an Analyst or similar. • Experience of process improvement Knowledge: • Sound understanding of Retail Banking, Client Service and Transactional Banking Operations knowledge of the rural industry • Strong knowledge of KYC/CDD policies and processes • Sound understanding of the New Zealand Code of Banking practice Skills: Leadership Skills • Ability to work in a team and independently • Role model Rabobank values and behaviours • Identify improvements to systems and processes • Ability to influence • Ability to coach colleagues as required Interpersonal Skills • Display and promote a high level of conduct at all times Technical and Specialist Skills • Advanced understanding of KYC/CDD policy and procedures. • Strong communication at all levels both written and verbal. • Ability to maintain good relationships with key internal and external clients.
