This is mahi that will improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it.  
The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by providing and coordinating the delivery of culturally safe public health services across health protection, disease prevention and health promotion. 
The primary organisational impact sought from this position is to provide a range of day-to-day administrative functions across the local team, including basic project co-ordination to a high-quality, to support the delivery of our public health work programme.
You are an experienced administrator or coordinator, able to pick up new systems quickly and with proven experience supporting teams, effective communication skills, well organised, the ability to prioritise effectively, be responsive and deal with ambiguity.You will be comfortable working with and for diverse communities and you will be Microsoft savvy, able to help managers and staff use Teams and other tools to best advantage.
Experienced in team administration including management of finances and supporting teams in the use of business systems  Proactively identifies continuous improvement opportunities in systems and processes to improve efficiencies Continuously and actively embraces learning opportunities and develops and improves technical experienceAble to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a timely, and accurate manner Able to demonstrate building constructive and effective relationships with stakeholders to build a sound understanding of their operational environment and context. A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions.
