With a focus on growth and innovation, they are seeking a talented Accounting Manager to join the team and lead their accounting management, partnering, and compliance efforts across all businesses within the Hammond Group.The RoleAs the Accounting Manager, you'll play a crucial role in establishing and shaping our accounting practices, starting with The Stay Hub & Hammond & Co, and expanding as our business dictates. You'll lead a team of bookkeepers, oversee daily accounting operations for short and long-term rental properties, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align accounting practices with our business objectives.Duties will include, but not be limited to:Lead and mentor a team of bookkeepers, overseeing their work remotely.Manage daily accounting operations for short and long-term rental properties, ensuring accurate financial reporting.Payroll.Develop annual budgets and forecasts to support business objectives.Optimize cash flow and manage tax compliance.Establish robust internal control procedures and continuously improve financial systems.Engage with external partners to support accounting operations and compliance.Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Proven experience in accounting management roles.Strong leadership and analytical skills.Proficiency in Xero and MS Office suite, specifically ExcelExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.The Culture:They foster a collaborative and supportive work environment where innovation and creativity are encouraged.
