2Ic Night Shift Team Leader - Pokeno

Our client based in Pokeno is on the hunt for a 2IC team leader to help out with their expanding business on their night shift.
The hours of work are 1745-0600 Monday - Thursday
Working in modern facilities out of the hustle and bustle of Auckland central you would be responsible for ensuring the line runs smoothly, staffing levels are managed and maintained and production maintains a consistent level.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
• Developing and maintaining effective and efficient work processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with MAF requirements, Woolworths requirements and legislative standards.
• Inventory management including 3PL warehouses (offsite).
• Ensuring the correct utilisation of warehouse systems and technology to drive efficiency
• Optimising resources across both sites, including planning and directing the distribution of products and employee workflows to ensure that distribution and delivery remains consistent with agreed service levels
• Proactively leading, developing and managing a team of distribution workers; ensuring a strong team culture and focus on customer experience.
• Have great communication skills (verbal and written) and be a confident leader with experience in building and managing teams.
• Compliance management: -Creating, maintaining and guiding safe work practices, ensuring all employees receive appropriate training and comply with safe work practices. (SOP`s, HSE)
• High Level of Computer Literacy (MS Outlook, Excel, WMS systems)
• Solid Distribution management experience (+10 years)
• Tertiary qualification
• Drivers Licence plus (F Endorsement),
• Hoist licence, MAF Accreditation.
