We have an opportunity for a motivated Kaimanaaki - Personal Assistant / Team Administrator to join our small but busy team.

We are looking for someone who can support the Director Pou ?rahi and provide administration support to the wider team, our mahi changes continuously so we need someone who will always be one step ahead!

Pou ?rahi supports the wider K?wai ki te iwi (Service Delivery and Operations) branch on building their understanding around Tikanga M?ori and supporting the implementation of Te Aka Taiwhenua – the departments M?ori Strategic Framework; to be successful in this role, you will be an administration guru and will have an understand of Tikanga M?ori that you can confidently share with others.

Skills required to be successful in this role;

Undertake senior administrative experience with high attention to detail
Ability to support the facilitation of M?ori networks / groups
Seeks to apply a Te Ao M?ori perspective over non M?ori information
Can interact and lead with confidence within a cultural environment
In addition, you will have the;

Ability to embrace new tasks and learnings quickly
Capability to self-manage and motivation to perform to a high quality is key
Comfortable working as a collective team but also independently to achieve a desired outcome
You will be joining a small but unified team to support the department to deliver outcomes for Wh?nau, Hapu and Iwi.
