Yardwork

This job is for a keen and fit student to work in an ad hoc casual role in Wanaka. There are roughly 3-5 hours of work at a time, and the payrate for this role will be based upon experience and performance, but will be around $20.00 per hour.
This job has gardening elements to it - lawnmowing, weeding, shifting and disposing of garden waste. However, there are also other tidy up elements to the role, and the successful applicant needs to be happy to help out with a range of tasks, including moving things around the section and cleaning up in general.
The ideal candidate will be fit and strong, have some gardening or labouring experience, and simply be keen to turn up and get stuck in! In order to apply for this role, you must have a high level of communication skills to turn up on the day and follow instructions.
The hours for this role are flexible and will depend on weather and time of year. The work-site is located roughly 20 minutes outside of the Wanaka township. Because of the location of the role, you can organise a good half day's of work to minimise travel time.
Students do not need their own car and license to apply, but this would benefit your application, as you would have reliable transport and will be able to help with any transporting of rubbish if necessary.This position is a self-employed contractor role where you will need to pay your own tax and due to this requirement, those on student visas will be ineligible for this role. Student will need to email an invoice for payment (an invoicing template can be supplied if needed).
There is a flexible start date available for this role, but the most important thing is that you are clear with your availability, and reliably can work during whatever period you are in Wanaka for.
