Our client, Fiddymont Seatbelts, is Christchurch's original Seatbelt Specialist and has been specializing in seatbelt supply & fitting since 1991. Fiddymont Seatbelts has a workshop in Sydenham where they manufacture seatbelts and are one of a few companies in New Zealand approved by NZTA to repair and reweb seatbelts.
The Role:
This is a hands-on role assisting in both manufacturing and refurbishing seatbelts, along with the installation and removal of the seatbelts in vehicles.
Hours of Work:
to Friday - 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring repairs comply with the quality assurance requirements
Workflow through the workshop
Stock Control
Invoicing and related computer work associated with the Company's -S' certification requirements.
Ensuring that health and safety protocols arefollowed
Ensuring that standard operating procedures are followed at all times
Being part of a positive work environment
What you will need to succeed in the role of Workshop Supervisor
Good mechanical knowledge
Proficient computer skills
Excellent customer service skills
The ability and desire to develop a working understanding of the industry.
A high level of motivation and integrity will be fundamental in ensuring the success of this position.
A positive approach to problem-solving
Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering great customer service and a positive approach to problem-solving.
