They are responsible for leading the development and delivery of the work programme(s) delegated to the role from the current and future Aotearoa Health Workforce Plan along with wider workforce activity that support future workforce development. This includes working across programmes taking an interprofessional approach to workforce development.Demonstrated prior experience in successfully managing initiatives from conception through to execution that involves change initiatives and/or service improvement programmes (in the range of 5 years). Supported by a knowledge of the New Zealand Health sector and/or relevant technical fieldSignificant senior level engagement with demonstrated experienced in building effective relationships with all levels of the organisation and stakeholdersExperience in Project Management and DeliveryIs well connected to national groups and able to build effective relationships with all levels of the organisation and with stakeholders and of Matauranga Maori; an ability to walk in both worlds is ideal, or on the path to gaining this knowledge.A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions.
