As a key member of the 'internal' trade sales team, you will evaluate architectural plans, take off quantities, estimate time and materials. Working alongside the Windows Manager, you may be required to assist with window measures, ordering materials, coordinating with clients and builders and general project management.RESPONSIBILITIESAccurately and efficiently take-off material quantities from architectural drawingsIdentify errors, issues or opportunities for improvement with client's drawings or technical informationPrepare quotations and proposals in Ostendo, ready to present to the customerDefine technical requirements to ensure the quote can be completed accurately and efficientlyWork closely alongside the sales team to implement remedies, improvements and requotesABOUT YOUExcellent communication skills with the ability to establish strong relationshipsBuilding/Construction experience, ideally in the manufacture of aluminium joineryTrade qualified in Aluminium Joinery or similarPrevious estimating experience is essentialStrong analytical and numerical abilityDemonstrated competency with a variety of programs is essential, including X1, Ostendo, Fab Max, Microsoft Office products and, ideally, CAD softwareStrong customer focus with an eye for detail and a sense of urgency to achieve resultsAPPLICATION PROCESSIf this sounds like you, we would like to hear from you!
