Welder

The role will include, but not limited to: Fit, assemble and weld metal parts and sub assemblies to fabricate production machines and other relevant equipment Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements Set up components for welding according to specifications Operate various manual and automated welding equipment for welding work Weld small and large components by using relevant tools Assess welded surface, structures and components to identify errors Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safet May erect machines and equipment on-sits as requested Other duties may be reasonably required  Requirements At least 3 years working experiences with verified experience At least NZQF Level 4 qualification majoring in welding may substitute the experiences requirements listed above More years of working experiences means more pay rate!!!
