Welder / Fabricator

Baker Cranes Ltd are specialists in the design, manufacture and servicing of over-head Travelling Cranes in our purpose built Wiri manufacturing facility.
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Welder / Fabricator to join our team in our clean, modern workshop.
Key requirements:
-Accurate dimensional structural layout skills & fabrication experience
-FCAW (MIG Flux cored)-, MMAW (Stick)- and preferably SUBARC welding experience mild steel.
Current welding tickets would be an advantage
-Ability to work with minimal supervision
-Able to read structural or fabrication drawings
-Good attitude towards safety
-Experience operating overhead gantry cranes setting up & handling structural fabrication work
-Must be able to work well in a multi-cultural team
-Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
Previous experience working at heights and using a forklift would be an advantage.
