Job Description:
As a Web Chat Officer at Core-Mark Holding in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ, you will be responsible for providing online customer support through web chat services. This part-time entry-level position requires at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:- Engage with customers through web chat to provide product information, resolve issues, and answer inquiries- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in all customer interactions- Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex issues- Meet performance metrics for response times, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates- Continuously improve knowledge of products and services offered by Core-Mark Holding- Utilize negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial outcomes with customers- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for online customer support
Requirements:- Resilient and confident personality traits- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal- Ability to think critically and problem-solve in real-time- Previous experience in a customer service or sales role preferred- Excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail- Proficiency in basic computer skills and web-based applications- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed- High school diploma or equivalent required
