Web Chat Assistant

Job Description:

Barnes & Noble is looking to hire a part-time Web Chat Assistant to join our team in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who is dedicated and motivated, with at least 1 year of experience in a customer service role.

Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries via web chat in a timely and professional manner- Provide accurate information about products, services, and promotions- Assist customers in navigating the Barnes & Noble website and placing orders- Resolve customer issues and complaints with empathy and efficiency- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery

Requirements:- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal- Excellent multitasking and time-management abilities- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Basic computer skills and familiarity with online chat platforms- Previous experience in customer service is preferred but not required- Must be dedicated and motivated to provide exceptional service to our customers- Soft skills in negotiation and cooperation are a plus
