Web And Systems Developer

This employer is looking for a Web and Systems Developer.Duties: Provide expertise and hands on implementation of web applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's. Prevent errors by getting all website edits reviewed after testing and prior to launch. Prevent any down time by developing locally and or in a Git Repository and execute a thorough testing procedure before deploying to a live environment. Provide support to the marketing team when required for any website issues that arise. Implement & advise on best practise security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications. Ensure daily backups are taken and accessible by the internal IT team. Projects are completed within the agreed timeframes. Prevent any unexpected costs by clearly advising of all costs during the planning stage of each project. Contribute to the planning process by providing information and expertise about options and best practice Provide expertise and implement best practises of UX by applying trial and optimisation methods Upgrade site structure and user flow to improve bounce rates and conversion metrics. Develop and maintain cross-browser & device compatibility. The ideal candidate will require some knowledge and experience with the following technologies: Craft CMS PHP Twig Laravel HTML CSS JQuery
The ideal candidate will also require a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. This is a fixed-term position and you must be able to commit to 24 hours per week until November 21st.
