You'll be working under Central Diesel Services, a prominent player in the Transport Industry representing Mercedes Benz, Freightliner, FUSO Trucks, Detroit, and Cummins Engines. With over 20 years of diesel expertise, CDS efficiently handles numerous jobs, ensuring our team swiftly gets our customers back on the road. CDS has multiple locations, including Mt Maunganui, Hinuera, and Rotorua.  ABOUT THE JOB: Job Purpose:  As the Warranty Advisor, you will play a pivotal role, specialising in the efficient handling and resolution of warranty-related matters. This position is responsible for managing warranty claims, ensuring adherence to warranty policies, and delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. Key Responsibilities: Receive and review warranty claims submitted by customers. Verify product information, purchase details, and warranty coverage. Process warranty claims accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers to gather necessary information for warranty claims. Provide clear explanations of warranty policies and procedures. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Work closely with the Technical Support team to assess the validity of warranty claims. Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant information for claim resolution. Evaluate warranty claims and determine appropriate resolutions in accordance with company policies. Communicate resolution decisions to customers and provide necessary follow-up. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all warranty claims and resolutions. Generate reports to track and analyse warranty trends and performance. Key Performance Indicators: Timely resolution of warranty claims. Accuracy in claim processing. Adherence to company warranty policies and procedures. ABOUT YOU: Legal and Other Requirements: Compliance with pre-employment testing, police checks, and medical examination. Qualification and Experience: Previous experience in a warranty-related role. Strong understanding of warranty policies and procedures. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in using relevant computer applications and software. Skills and Knowledge: Strong organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends and changes in warranty regulations. Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
