Warehouse Team Leader

ABOUT THE COMPANY A rare opportunity as a Team Leader with a nationwide company that is "homegrown here in Canterbury" has become available. ABOUT THE ROLE This busy role is based in their Christchurch branch. You will work in a physical environment where it takes a band of brothers to get the job done. What better way to lead a team than by example? Your responsibilities will include: Oversee staff allocation and training Manage customer orders and inquiries confidently Ensure accurate inventory and shipment handling Set expectations & assign tasks Prioritize health and safety while maintaining effective internal and external communication ABOUT YOU You ideally have 5-10 years' experience in a warehousing environment, with at least 2 years leading a team. You have worked with interbranch stock movements and in bulk quantities. To succeed, you will need: Ability to build the trust of your team and communicate transparently Proficient in inventory management and maintaining accurate records of stock levels Knowledgeable about health and safety regulations Excellent computer literacy Physically strong is a must SOUND LIKE YOU?
