As a privately owned and operated family business we have a great working environment and can offer the opportunity for the right candidate to grow their career.What we are looking forPhysically fit and strong as some heavy lifting is required.A logical and systematic approach to workThe ability to solve problems and make quick decisions.Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.The ability to lead and motivate a small team.Good literacy, numeracy, and general computer skillsCurrent full New Zealand Driver's license with no conditionsCurrent Forklift licence is a must!MPI approvalsA self-sufficient motivator who can take the initiative and direct accordingly.Duties include but not limited to.Providing direction and managing the performance of warehouse staffMaintaining equipment maintenance schedule and ensuring all vehicles, forklifts and other equipment are used in accordance with the schedule.Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment.Devaning sea containers.Organising stock takes and other stock control measures providing direction to warehouse staff and ensuring stock accuracy.Assisting the warehouse team with general warehouse dutiesDealing with Inwards and outwards goods – including picking and packing ordersDriving company forklifts for the purpose of loading, unloading, and handling of warehouse goods.HoursMonday to Friday 40 hours per week.
