Warehouse Assistant

The main responsibility of the picker will be for the completeness and correctness of all orders picked and packed.
Incoming Shipments
Unload and put incoming shipments LCL and FCL including devanning the containers as and when required.
Count and Confirm the incoming stocks to the office for entry into the database
Stack the cartons in appropriately marked racking space

Outgoing Order Picking:
Take picking orders/ packing slip from office and find products in warehouse as per the location specified.
Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct code number and type of product is loaded on the pallet

Outgoing Order Packing
Ensure & Check correct quantity is packed and match this to packing slip issued by the office.
Shrink wrap all pallets, works the dims and weight of the final pallet and attach the completed packing slip or any other markings as specified.
Help loading trucks or any other means of transport

Other duties
General tidying and cleaning of the warehouse area
Maintain or Reorganise products in warehouse
Check the product to ensure that its quality is up to the mark and that any damaged products are isolated and reported.

Ideal candidate will be a willing candidate and be able to drive a forklift or a reach truck. Having an experience of 2-3 years will be preferred.
