Star Alliance Food Company Limited is one of the leading Chinese Restaurant based in Wellington, New Zealand. Due to business expanding, they are now looking for 2 Chef to join their busy restaurant team.All positions above are full time permanent position with guaranteed 30 hours per week. Waiter/Waitress ($28.18-35)Job responsibilities·       Welcoming customers as they arrive, showing them to their seats, and providing menus beverage lists·       Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff·       Serving food and beverage.·       Opening bottles and pouring beverages·       Clearing tables and ensuring that the dining area is clean and tidy.·       Handling payments, including processing credit card transactions and making changes.·       Recommending dishes: Waiters/Waitresses should be familiar with the menu and able to make recommendations to customers based on their preferences and dietary restrictions.·       Handling customer complaints or issues that arise.·       Having a basic understanding of Chinese cuisine and culture.To be successfully, you will need to·       Previous working experience is not compulsory but will be an advantage·       Able to work under pressureBe good at problem solving   Fast food cook ($28.18-35)Job Responsibilities·       Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment·       Checking ingredients to make sure the quality and freshness ·       Cutting, washing, peeling, mixing raw food material and taking right measurement·       Preparing and cooking fast food using grills, microwaves, and deep fryers ·       Arrange delivery for customers Cleaning up kitchen benches, cooking surfaces, and other cooking appliances ·       Ordering kitchen supplies and other food and ingredients·        Taking food supplies delivery and checking the quality and quantity ·       Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils ·       Adhered to all hygiene & health and safety rules and our restaurant regulations To be successfully, you will need to:·       A Can-do attitude·       Work under pressure·       Prior experience is not required but will be an advantage
