Star Alliance Food Company Limited is one of the leading Chinese Restaurant based in Wellington, New Zealand. Due to business expanding, they are now looking for 2 Waiter/Waitress and 1 Chef to join their busy restaurant team. All positions above are full time permanent position with guaranteed 30 hours per week. Waiter/Waitress ($28.18-35) Job responsibilities ·       Welcoming customers as they arrive, showing them to their seats, and providing menus beverage lists ·       Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff ·       Serving food and beverage. ·       Opening bottles and pouring beverages ·       Clearing tables and ensuring that the dining area is clean and tidy. ·       Handling payments, including processing credit card transactions and making changes. ·       Recommending dishes: Waiters/Waitresses should be familiar with the menu and able to make recommendations to customers based on their preferences and dietary restrictions. ·       Handling customer complaints or issues that arise. ·       Having a basic understanding of Chinese cuisine and culture. To be successfully, you will need to ·       Previous working experience is not compulsory but will be an advantage ·       Able to work under pressure Be good at problem solving       Chef ($28.18-35) Job Responsibilities planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures preparing and cooking food explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations may select and train staff may freeze and preserve food           To be successfully, you will need to: ·       Minimum 3 years work expreience in Chinese Cuisine ·       Work under pressure ·       A Can-do Attitute   Â
